Gaze into Tomorr's Grazing Lands
Acid Cosmonaut Records is pleased to announce the release of Tomorr's debut album.
Born in Empoli in 2017, the trio takes its name from the mountain that rises above Berat, the city of 1001 windows; inspired by traditional Albanian music (whose language they inherit in some of their lyrics), their sounds are rooted in the harshest doom metal, burdened with tribal rhythms and dark atmospheres.
The images and settings of the band come to life in ruins carved by ancient customs, the slowness and fatigue of old gestures of a rural world that gives nothing away. A hymn to the most isolated villages, where stone still wins over concrete.

After four long years, Italian stoner rockers DSW
are finally ready to reveal to the world their second studio album:
Tales from the Cosmonaut will be released by Acid Cosmonaut Records on
January 2017. Seven brand new songs able to cover all the ranges of
modern heavy psych, showing the evolution of their style, achieved also
thanks to a large number of gigs supporting acts like like Elder, Mos
Generator, Mutoid Man, Zippo, L'Ira del Baccano, Void of Sleep, Karl
Marx was a Broker and Anuseye.
The album is yet available for preorder on our Bandcamp page and it’s the first production of the label available on vinyl! The

ORION - BUILDERS OF COSMOS is coming!
On March we will release, together with Taxi Driver Records and Sailors Overdrive Records, the first album by Orion, Builders of Cosmos!
The band was formed in 2014 by members of different bands such as Woodwall, Mexican Mud and Army of Angry Youth.
Some months later, Richard (former Mexican Mud bass player) was invited to join the band on guitar. After a while they decided to finally fix the lineup by moving Matteo (vocals) also to lead guitar and replacing the first bass player with Richard. Each member has contributed into putting their musical experience into the songs: their inspirations come from different kinds of genres, mixing Black Sabbath, bits of metal here and there, grunge (especially for the vocal lines) and of course classic stoner rock.
Orion are: Pietro (drums), Richard (vocals, bass), Andrea (guitar) and Matteo (vocals, guitar).

Thrillingly misanthropic in their
approach, IZŌ drench their post-apocalyptic vision of the world in waves
of feedback and pummeling guitars.
IZO are a doom/stoner/ sludge band of Lecce with psychedelic hues, formed in the winter of 2013, and came to the final arrangement in August of 2014, after several lineup changes.
Influenced by bands as Sleep, Electric Wizard, Mastodon, Ufomammut, Neurosis, Black Sabbath and Yob, they have a dark and dirty sound, obtained using old tube heads, cones and vintage analogic pedals, exasperated by slow and oppressive rhythms, mixed with very short parts of fast stoner oldschool.

The Smoking Goat Records instead become The Smoking Goat Studio Recording, the "official" recording studio of our label.
And there's more: thanks to this joinT venture, 2016 promises to be full of news: in addition to the previously announced new album by DSW, we are planning the debuts by Orion and IZŌ and a split of which we hope to announce soon the details.

A CALL FOR HELP FROM DEEPER SPACE
EN Dear Cosmonauts, as you may have noticed (or maybe not) 2015 was the first year since
our foundation in which we have not produced anything like label.
Unfortunately our policy of music for all (with digital copies available Name Your Price and physical copies at very cheap prices) is proving to be unsustainable in the long run: for example, our "best seller", Chasma Hideout of Brain Pyramid, has sold 26 copies in CD and has been downloaded 271 times, of which only 39 were purchased.
2016 will be a pivotal year for the survival of our activity (which does not affect us as people, but only as a label) and, therefore, from today we are forced to introduce some changes:
- digital copies will no longer be offered for free, but at a fixed price of 2 €
- the price of the CDs will be increased from 5 to 8 € (with the exception of Mindwarp EP) and t-shirts from 10 to 12 €
On the other hand, we have added new advantageous purchasing opportunities:
- shirt+CD packages for each of our releases (here)
- a mega bundle containing all our releases, a t-shirt of your choice and bonus material like stickers, flyers, pins and miniposter (here)
Next year we're ready for you our first release on vinyl (the previously announced new DSW album), the CD edition of the new album by Brain Pyramid (here's the vinyl edition released by Vincebus Eruptum) and a new, interesting band of which we hope to talk you soon.
We trust in your support ... and help us spread the word! We hope to still have so much new psychedelia to make you discover!

And now... Brain Pyramid!
We're stoked to announce our next release: Chasma Hideout, the debut album by French Heavy Psych trio Brain Pyramid!
Brain
Pyramid was formed in November 2012, in Rennes (Brittany—France).
This is the initiative of the actual lead guitarist Gaston Lainé
and the drummer Baptiste Gautier-Lorenzo.

Influenced
by the sweet old rock n roll (Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Sabbath,
Motörhead, Blue Cheer, etc.), but also by stoner rock and actual
psychedelic scene (Kyuss, Sleep, Nebula, Earthless, Orange Goblin,
etc.) they decided to create a band to play like these masters.
After the release of their first EP Magic Carpet Ride, the former bassman left his place to Ronan Grall, spiritual Guru from the French Doom band Huata. Then they toured in Spain, Portugal, France, having some great gigs with bands like Blues Pills, The Atomic Bitchwax, Prisma Circus, Cuzo, Fungus...
Brain Pyramid is a Heavy Bluesy Stoner Psychedelic Rock And Roll band. They play loud enough to make you feel like blown by a LSD dose. They are actually searching for lots of gigs to expend their experience and grow up to the sun.
