THE BOY'S GOOD NEWS

EN After working together this summer to organize one of the Italian dates of Elder and Mos Generator European Tour, we are pleased to announce our merger with ... The Smoking Goat Records!
The label of our friend Matteo Signanini, responsible for the release of the excellent second album by Prehistoric Pigs, become one entity with Acid Cosmonaut Records, so you will soon find available on our Bandcamp page the aforementioned album and the debut album by Woodwall!
The Smoking Goat Records instead become The Smoking Goat Studio Recording, the "official" recording studio of our label.
And there's more: thanks to this joinT venture, 2016 promises to be full of news: in addition to the previously announced new album by DSW, we are planning the debuts by Orion and IZŌ and a split of which we hope to announce soon the details.
Stay tuned, stay psych!

P.S. To celebrate the event properly, you'll find all our catalogue in digital format on our Bandcamp with the 50% discount. 'Nuff said.

The Smoking Goat Records!
The Smoking Goat Records diventa invece The Smoking Goat Studio Recording, studio di registrazione "ufficiale" della nostra etichetta.
Stay tuned, stay psych!

P.S. 'Nuff said.

A CALL FOR HELP FROM DEEPER SPACE

EN Dear Cosmonauts, as you may have noticed (or maybe not) 2015 was the first year since our foundation in which we have not produced anything like label.
Unfortunately our policy of music for all (with digital copies available Name Your Price and physical copies at very cheap prices) is proving to be unsustainable in the long run: for example, our "best seller", Chasma Hideout of Brain Pyramid, has sold 26 copies in CD and has been downloaded 271 times, of which only 39 were purchased.

2016 will be a pivotal year for the survival of our activity (which does not affect us as people, but only as a label) and, therefore, from today we are forced to introduce some changes:
- digital copies will no longer be offered for free, but at a fixed price of 2 €
- the price of the CDs will be increased from 5 to 8 € (with the exception of Mindwarp EP) and t-shirts from 10 to 12 €
On the other hand, we have added new advantageous purchasing opportunities:
- shirt+CD packages for each of our releases (here)
- a mega bundle containing all our releases, a t-shirt of your choice and bonus material like stickers, flyers, pins and miniposter (here)

Next year we're ready for you our first release on vinyl (the previously announced new DSW album), the CD edition of the new album by Brain Pyramid (here's the vinyl edition released by Vincebus Eruptum) and a new, interesting band of which we hope to talk you soon.

We trust in your support ... and help us spread the word! We hope to still have so much new psychedelia to make you discover!
The Acid Cosmonaut Records' Staff

Upcoming Release: Manthra Dei

We're pretty excited to announce our next CD release, the homonymous album by Italian Heavy-Psych masters Manthra Dei! Coming this october, also on vinyl by Nasoni Records!
Here's the first track off the album, Stone Face, a majestic trip into space/psych/prog areas. Enjoy it!

BIO

More than a band, Manthra Dei are a bunch of friends in love with lysergic deserts and forged by nights spent listening cassettes of teenage idols. Spontaneous, raw and mind-tripped tunes get pierced together by their bipolar personalities and become straight as headbanging on a kick-ass riff.
Michele, Paolo and Brano started back in 2009 as an instrumental power-trio that brought them to self-produce an EP with two log trips for almost 40 minutes of improvisations. Soon after, Maestro Paolo T. (yes, a real Maestro) joined them to start a long list of live-shows with Karma to Burn, Yawning Man, Vibravoid among many others up to a memorable Pietrasonica Festival in 2011.
After that the band decided to fix their jams into an album and consequently to get closed in a rehearsal room for almost two years … at least up to 2013, when Nasoni Rec – Colour Haze, Machine, Siena Root anyone? – decided to cast on vinyl their recordings. CD edition was taken in charge by a young Italian label, Acid Cosmonauts, that spread the world with a limited edition of 300 copies of their first full-length.
What to find in the album? Hawkwind, Causa Sui, Can, Kyuss, Earthless, Black Sabbath, Colour Haze, King Crimson, Motorpsycho, Popol Vuh, Sleep, Goblin, Hypnos69, Jethro Tull, Ozric Tentacles mashed-up with no criteria but with horns up against the sky.
Definitely not a stoner album, but I bet anybody to give a definition of this shit!
